Job Description
Job Responsibilities
- Liaise with local authorities to ensure compliance with local building regulations and bye-laws.
- Day-to-day management of the site, including supervising and monitoring the work of the site labour force and subcontractors – this is site-specific and may not be the case on all projects.
- Plan works and organise plant and site facilities efficiently to meet agreed deadlines.
- Overseeing quality control and health & safety matters on site.
- Prepare reports as needed.
- Resolving any unforeseen technical difficulties and other problems.
- Agree on pricing for materials and create cost effective solutions and proposals for the desired project.
- Manage, monitor and interpret contract design documents provided by the client or architect.
- Check plans, drawings and quantities for accuracy of calculations.
- Maintain and optimise existing drainage systems to enhance efficiency and extend life.
- Responding to emergencies involving system failures or disruptions.
- Evaluating existing manufacturing processes and identifying areas for improvement.
