Job Description
He is looking for a detail-oriented Assistant Accountant to support his finances. The ideal candidate will assist with bookkeeping, financial reporting, and daily accounting functions while ensuring compliance with company policies and accounting principles.
Job Responsibilities
- Assist in maintaining accurate financial records and preparing financial reports.
- Keep records of daily transactions, including accounts payable and receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and process invoices.
- Assisting with tax filings, GST and other statutory compliances.
- Prepare payroll and maintain employee expense records.
- Provide assistance to the Senior Accountant in audits and financial analysis.
- Manage petty cash and assist with budgeting.
- Handle vendor payments and keep track of due dates.
- Ensure accuracy of data and maintain proper documentation.
Candidate Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 1-3 years experience in accounting or finance Freshers with relevant internship can also apply.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as Tally, QuickBooks or SAP.
- In-depth knowledge of MS Excel and financial reporting.
- Understanding of taxation, GST and TDS regulations.
- Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of financial compliance and auditing standards.
- Good communication skills and teamwork capabilities.
- Experience in Real Estate Accounting.
