Job Responsibilities

Develop detailed lesson plans in line with the school curriculum, incorporating a variety of teaching methods to cater to different learning styles.
Teach social science subjects including history, geography, civics and economics with clarity and enthusiasm using visual aids and interactive activities.
Conduct regular assessments through tests, quizzes, projects, and observations to monitor student progress and identify areas that need support.
Create a positive classroom environment that encourages active participation, critical thinking, and meaningful discussion.
Provide additional support through tutoring or differentiated instruction to students struggling with concepts.
Maintain open communication with parents by providing regular updates on student performance and attending parent-teacher meetings.
Contribute to curriculum development by suggesting new teaching strategies and materials.
Maintain accurate student records, grade assignments, and submit required reports according to school policy.

Job Requirement

Bachelor’s degree in History, Geography, Political Science, Sociology, or a related social science field.
Bachelor of Education degree B.Ed with specialization in Social Sciences.
Certified Teaching Experience in Middle School Social Sciences.
Strong understanding of prescribed curriculum and pedagogical practices.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in using technology to enhance learning.
