Job Description
They are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced female accountant to join our team in the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) industry. That candidate will manage financial transactions, ensure regulatory compliance, and provide key financial insights to support business development and decision making.
Job Responsibilities
- Maintaining and maintaining daily accounting works including payable accounts, receiving accounts, salary, and general account books.
- Preparation of financial statements such as balance sheet, profit and loss and review them as well as details, and cash flow report.
- Assist in the development of budgets and financial forecasts.
- Monitor actual versus budgeted performance and provide variance analysis.
- Maintain all relevant financial regulations, tax laws and company compliance.
- Prepare and submit tax filing and submit the precise and timely tax filing including VAT/GST.
- Cooperate with external auditors during audit and ensure accurate results.
- Analyze cost and pricing strategies to improve profitability.
- Monitor inventory valuation and ensure accurate costing for FMCG products.
- Identifying and implementing process improvements to increase financial efficiency and accuracy.
- Develop and maintain effective internal control systems to prevent errors and fraud.
- Work closely with purchasing, sales and operations teams to provide financial support.
- Providing assistance to senior management in ad-hoc financial analysis and decision making.
Education & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field (CPA, CMA or equivalent certification preferred).
- Proven experience environment as an accountant in FMCG industry or similar fast -paced area.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial regulations and tax compliance.
- Accounting software- eg, skill in SAP, Quickbook and Advanced Microsoft
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Knowledge of FMCG industry financial practices, including inventory management and cost accounting.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively across departments.
- High level of integrity and confidentiality in handling financial information.
