Job Description

Job Responsibilities

  • Provide engaging Hindi language lessons covering grammar, literature, comprehension and composition.
  • Explain complex concepts in Hindi in a way that is accessible and understandable to all students.
  • Develop detailed lesson plans and materials that align with course and curriculum requirements.
  • Use innovative teaching methods and tools, such as audio-visual aids, to enhance language learning.
  • Create assignments, quizzes, and exams to assess students’ progress and understanding.
  • Provide constructive feedback and conduct regular assessments to help students improve.
  • Maintain discipline and create a positive learning environment.
  • Pay attention to students’ individual needs and provide additional support as necessary.
  • Encourage active participation and interest in Hindi language and literature.
  • Engage students in discussions, debates, and creative writing exercises to improve their language skills.
  • Keep records of students’ performance, attendance and progress. Communicate with parents about students’ academic and behavioural progress when necessary.
  • Stay updated with new teaching methods, technology and advancements in Hindi language and literature.
  • Attend training sessions, workshops, and professional development programs as required.

Candidate Profile

  • Proficiency in Hindi language and literature.
  • Deep understanding of Hindi grammar, vocabulary and linguistics.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to create an inclusive and motivating classroom environment.
  • Bachelor Degree with Hindi Subject.
  • B.Ed. Bachelor of Education from a recognized institute.
  • TET Teacher Eligibility Test or CTET certification in many cases, especially for government schools.
